Springlakes Swim Team

Springlakes Swim Team asks that swimmers have the following gear:

For Practice:

• Swimsuit: any color, it's just practice, one-piece only, no bikinis
• Goggles: are highly recommended, they can be purchased at Augusta Swim Supply or off Amazon. Speedo is the best and most comfortable. For little ones (5-11 years old or smaller heads) get the junior speedo for a better fit. For the older ones, get the Speedo regular - they come in men's and women's.
• Swim Caps: 1 Cap per swimmer is included with registration. Swim caps are mandatory for all swim meets. Additional caps are available for purchase if needed throughout the season. 

For Swim Meets:

• Black Swimsuit: It doesn't matter what brand. Girls wear a one-piece suit, boys wear jammers or Speedos.  You can get them at Augusta Swim Supply the ones there have thin white piping on the edges, but really, all you need is a black one. Augusta Swim will embroider an  SL in teal if you want it on the suit, but it's not required. You can also order from Amazon. ** Make sure the suit fits well and has no bagginess or gaps which might be uncomfortable for your swimmer.

• Swim Caps: We have team swim caps available for purchase with your registration. Swim caps are highly recommended for identification at our swim meets.
