Swim team practices mornings and evenings

Morning practice: Monday-Friday 

starting Thursday, May 21

Evening practice: Monday-Thursday

Please note - swimmers may be placed in different groups depending on their ability. Coaches will approach parents about any changes. Please do not ask the coaches.

Practice times may be adjusted after the season begins to best meet the needs of the swimmers and coaches.

Important

• Please be on time. All practices begin with group dry land stretches before swimming. If you miss your child's practice time slot they cannot swim in the next age-group practice.

• If your child is 8 years old or under you or a designated guardian (16 or older) must remain on the pool deck the entire time of practice. NO EXCEPTIONS. The swim coaches ARE NOT LIFEGUARDS. You are responsible for the safety and well-being of your child/children at all times during all swim practices and swim meets.

• Practice and Meets are a NO BULLY ZONE. The coaches will contact the parent if there is a complaint. Continued complaints will result in the removal of the swimmer from the team. No refunds for the remaining swim season will be issued.

• There are no lifeguards on duty. Springlakes pool employs attendants only. Please help us keep an eye on the pool to keep all our children safe.

• Practice may be called due to inclement weather. Please check this site and/or your email for updates on practice if storms are expected. All children will follow the pool rules and exit the water and pool deck at the sound of thunder or presence of lightning. 

Please be prepared to pick up your child / children if practice is called early due to bad weather.
